Choosing a Baby Carrier or Baby Wrap That’s Right for You by Infantino
A baby is on the way or has just arrived, and the weight of many decisions is on your shoulders. We’ve been there and that’s why we want to offer as much information as possible to help make choosing a baby carrier a happy and successful experience.
At Infantino, we believe in the benefits of babywearing and that what works for some may not work for others. That’s why we created a line of functionally-diverse carriers that suit many carrying needs, ranging from a quick convenience need to helping parents follow the practice of attachment parenting.
We think baby carrier reviews can be very helpful and want to help steer you towards the right carrier. There’s also something to be said about getting information from the folks that make them and we want to do our best to provide you with helpful information that helps you find the perfect fit. So we’ve developed an informational babywearing carrier guide that includes an overview of carrying style and baby carrier types.
In our guide we cover all styles of carriers including wrap carriers, ergonomic carriers, Mei Tai baby carriers, backpack carriers and soft-structured carriers with front-facing carrier positions. Once you’ve identified what baby carrier seems right for you, we invite you to look through our selection of top quality baby carriers and see what we have to offer. All of the Infantino carrier pages include educational carrier videos that show you how to use the carrier, which, we think, helps a lot in the decision process. You’ll also see very unique features that can’t be found in any other carrier like the supportive capped sleeves of the Bliss Carrier and the lumbar feature of our Sync Wrap carrier.
We love babywearing and we want you to love it, too. So be it the Sash Mei Tai, our Bliss carrier or Infantino’s carrier accessories, we hope you’ll enjoy keeping baby close as much as we do.
The day started with ducks, over 200 of them. Some were destined for the “lucky duck” drawing pool, others to be “duckorated” – a term coined by our friends at MomCentral.
Then we moved our attention to the living room, veranda and kitchen transforming this beach-side home in Coronado into the perfect playdate space with fun food, activities and a candy bar!
With the finishing touches added we were ready for our guests. Over 30 bloggers from across the country in town for one of the biggest conferences around…BlogHer ‘11!
Folks made their way in, found their handmade (thanks Tracy) name tags and got the playdate started!
Bloggers got gifty with the new Infantino Comforting Play Collection, designed a Step 2 dream kitchen, fashioned new faces on some unsuspecting rubber ducks and were privy to the sneak peek of hot new products (one so new it didn’t even have a name yet).
All that playing worked up an appetite. All that needs to be said is DELICIOUS. Thank you Waters Catering, you did not disappoint!
The party ended where the day began, in the yard, by the water with the ducks. Amidst lots of cool Step 2 toys stood the Grand Walk-In Kitchen – the grand prize for the blogger with the lucky duck.
It was truly amazing to be in the company of such wonderful people that contribute greatly to the social space. We appreciate you coming to our playdate so we could meet in a good old fashion face-to-face way. And we look forward to keeping up our conversations in cyberspace.
Baby’s Main Squeeze
No matter how many times you do it, holding those tiny little hands is just magical. And it always seems to comfort baby in a special way. This simple interaction led to the creation of the Soothing Hand Squeezies. They replicate the feeling of grabbing onto mom’s (or dad’s) finger. A simple, but incredibly soothing and calming act for babies. During test drives with moms we often got the comment that these look like itty, bitty boxing gloves. We agree – and they help fight off the fussiness!

Binky’s Best Buddy
Why can’t those darn binkies just stay put. Dropped, tossed, lost, stuffed under the carseat, scooting across the floor… We’ve been there. And now we’re coming to the rescue with our Binky Buddy – it keeps binky with baby and is easy to spot in that bottomless diaper bag of yours. It is also a great lovey that your little one will love to hold!
If you’re thinking of buying some pacifiers as part of a shower gift, this is the perfect match.

We’re big believers in the power of moms – they’re full of smarts, insights and great ideas that only come from the hard work and love it takes to raise children.
One of the ways we get connected with moms and look for feedback on our products is through Mom Central, an online community that lets moms look for tips and advice from other moms and share their opinions on products and services.
We’re actually sending many of our new products out to the Mom Panel to get feedback, spread the word and generate new product ideas. The feedback is invaluable and could only come from moms!
The Mom Test Drive team just finished up testing and reviewing for our new Twist and Fold Activity Gym, Jumbo Wheel Play Space and Fold & Go Bouncer. We’re so impressed with how creative they got with their reviews and we really appreciate them taking the time to check out our products.
Here are a few highlights of our Mom Central reviews. You can read the full review by clicking the link.
Twist & Fold Activity Gym
“The Twist and Fold Activity Gym also folds down easily into a fraction of its original size. I love this because a play gym is one of those things that are incredibly nice to take when you travel to Grandma’s house or a hotel. And to collapse it you simply twist the top and it folds up easily. You can do it one handed if you need to.”
Fold & Go Bouncer
“Thanks to Infantino for finding a more compact way to take along essential baby items on a road trip that is also fun and entertaining for my baby!”
Jumbo Wheel Play Space
“Let me tell you, it’s the mother of all activity mats! It’s fun being able to see what toys “grow” with baby, and the Infantino Jumbo Wheel Play Space does just that. Piper’s 10 months and this play mat will entertain her for a long time.”
